I was delighted to learn that the first season of True Blood follows only the events in the first book, Dead Until Dark. I watched “Strange Love” this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’ve always been a fan of reading the source material for movies. Not just sci-fi and fantasy but anything really. I think I first developed the habit after seeing “Howard’s End” and then equally adoring the book.
